This is our 5th meeting on 28th March 2017 was blessed with the presence of the Ordinary of Arua Diocese Rt. Rev. Bishop Sabino Ocan Odoki. His presence was of great importance in the meeting because our Founder Bishop Angelo Negri gave his last breath in Ediofe Parish on 11th November 1949 when he was on Pastoral Visitations to Moyo, Lodonga, Maracha, Arua, Nyapea, Nebbi and Angal ( Former Arua Diocese) His Body was taken and buried in Gulu, where his Seat was.

To note was that the Pakwach Gulu Road was opened by the Provincial Commissioner (PC) to transport the Bishop's body.

Bishop Sabino said it was important to commit ourselves to this course of the Beatification of Bishop Angelo Negri Servant of God because indeed he and the missionaries did a lot to bring us to what we are. Their footsteps are seen.

The meeting pledged to go more practical to make Bishop Angelo Negri''s works be known e.g he started the congregations of the Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate, the Little Brothers of Immaculate Heart of Mary commonly known as the Marian Brothers, Sacred Heart Minor and (Major Seminary) in Lacor, constructed the magnificent Cathedral of Gulu and opened several renowned institutions in Northern Uganda. The indigenous religious and priests are his sons and daughters a team that has nowadays fully grown and with off springs like the Missionary Sisters of Mary Mother of the Church, the Missionaries of Jesus the Divine Master, the Daughters of the Merciful Heart of Jesus and Mary Queen of Apostles.
