The Institute's overall Vocation Director said in her speech : A home without children is a Dead Home" This is to say when new entrants is realized in the Institute , It is like activating the life of the Institute. The Institute features its future a success for its many apostolate of evangelization through new entrants.
For the last three weeks the Institute of the Little Sisters of Mary Immaculate of Gulu received and inducted its new comers. 8 girls joined in the persons Anne Mwacan, Nebbi Catholic Diocese, Filder Adokorac,Gulu Archdiocese, Rita Acan, Lira Diocese, Eunice Akello, Lira Dioceses, Eveline Alum, Lira Diocese, Regina Akulu, Gulu Archdioceses, Agatha Katushabe Fort Portal Dioceses and Angela Naliaka Opio Bungoma Diocese Kenya.
Today 2nd April 2017 their initiation to the formation took place at a solemn Benediction led by the chaplain of the Institute Rev. Fr. Matthew Okun Lagoro. The Girls were presented by the Vocation Director Rev. Sr. Rosalba Aciro to the chief formator, the Novice Mistress Rev. Sr. Ventorina Adiyo who welcomed the girls and pledged that the formators will train them diligently in the patrimony and spirituality of the Institute. The girls gratefully committed themselves to learning the ways our Lord Jesus has called them to know and live through this Institute. Rev Fr. Mathew blessed them and closed the ceremony with the benediction which was cheerfully accompanied by the Senior Aspirants, the Postulants and the Sisters.
The Aspirant Mistress Rev. Sr. Esther Arach with Postulant Mistress Rev. Sr. Clementina Atim prepared the para-liturgy carefully and this gave an exciting mood throughout the prayers. It was a very big motivation to the new there after called Junior Aspirants to be happy that they have started the journey they have been very much longing for. The church has dedicated this month of April for young people to commit themselves to join priesthood and consecrated life. We commit ourselves to earnestly pray for vocations.
